Multiple Henrico Sheriff's deputies were arrested and charged with 2nd-degree murder in connection to the in-custody death of Irvo Otieno. Their arrests come as Virginia State Police investigate the circumstances surrounding Otieno's death.
Gravity waves visible this afternoon just east of the Blue Ridge. Look for the lines of clouds oriented NE to SW, roughly perpendicular to the prevailing northwest wind. These are formed by the alternating rising and sinking motion of the air downstream of the Appalachians.

He dressed as me for his class's "Excellence and Achievement" Black History Living Museum, and I had to make the trip to let him know how much it meant to me.
